Artistic doctoral research at the University of the Arts Helsinki Theatre Academy
In this research, I explore what kinds of dance practices make it possible to perform with nonhuman animals. How might a performance highlight their ways of perceiving, their agency, and their thinking? By examining interspecies bodily interaction within the performer’s practice, the research seeks to deepen our understanding of interspecies performance.
